We enjoyed our ride so much. We went out on a not-so-hot summer day, for the sunset ride. The place is gorgeous and set in a quiet, rural area. It is not too far from town, but it feels as if it were. We were welcomed by the staff and introduced to the lovely animals. The camels were gentle, and way bigger than I expected. Our little caravan consisted of 3 adults, 4 kids, 4 camels, and Marcus, who owns the operation. The ride was smooth and the views were magnificent. We encountered some wildlife, gorgeous birds, a number of cows with calves, and were even lucky enough to snap a few pictures of kangaroos (I think :). The kids were really excited and were quite sad when it was all over. It was so beautiful to spend an evening like this. Don't miss this when visiting Alice Springs, and don't forget to bring a hat! I posted some pictures of our evening and you can see how the colors of the mountains and dirt change very quickly.

A very pleasant slow ride on beautiful animals that are a very important part of our outback history of the early explorers. Its in a lovely setting being surrounded by the ranges. A good time to reflect on the hardship the explorers experienced with the heat, dust, isolation, long distances & harshness of the outback.

They are punctual with pick up times. Details about the camels and the tour was amazing. Lots of knowledge shared. Child friendly and exceptionally great customer service caring for all ages. Well worth doing again.
